Dan Mendelson
Dan Mendelson is CEO of Morgan Health, a business unit at JPMorganChase that accelerates innovation in employer-sponsored healthcare. Since its inception in 2021, Morgan Health has supported nine innovative portfolio companies and initiated a range of pilot programs to improve the quality, affordability, and equity of healthcare. Areas of focus include better primary care, prevention, care navigation, value-based payment, improved data infrastructure, and advanced analytics.
Dan was previously founder and CEO of Avalere Health. Avalere provides advisory services, syndicated research, and data analytics to help improve quality and reduce the cost of healthcare. Prior to founding Avalere, Dan served as associate director for Health at the Office of Management and Budget in the Clinton White House.
Dan currently serves on the board of Champions Oncology and is an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. He previously served on the boards of Coventry Healthcare, HMS Holdings, Pharmerica, Partners in Primary Care, Centrexion, Audacious Inquiry, Mosaic Health, and the Alliance for Healthcare Policy.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College, and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
