Peterson Center on Healthcare Supports Launch of the Yale Health Care Affordability Lab
Last Updated March 11, 2026
At a time when US healthcare is increasingly unaffordable, our work at the Peterson Center on Healthcare is focused on finding solutions to rising healthcare costs. That’s why we are proud to support the launch of the Health Care Affordability Lab at Yale, a new initiative led by Yale Professor Zack Cooper to curb rising U.S. healthcare spending by producing timely, rigorous, policy-relevant health economics research.
The Lab will equip policymakers, journalists, and advocates with the research and tools they need to understand what is driving healthcare costs—and what can be done about it.
