Peterson Center on Healthcare Launches With $200M Commitment to Improve U.S. Healthcare

New York—The Peter G. Peterson Foundation is launching the Peterson Center on Healthcare on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the Jack Morton Auditorium in Washington, DC. The Foundation has committed $200M to the Center to transform U.S. healthcare into a high performance system that delivers the quality of care Americans deserve at a lower cost.

On the morning of December 4, 2014, the Center will release findings from a new groundbreaking study, as well as unveil a series of initiatives led by some of the most innovative organizations in healthcare today. During the event, we will feature data and insights from pioneers across the healthcare system and detail the Center’s plans to find, validate and scale innovations that improve health outcomes and lower costs.

The event will also feature select voices from the Center's Advisory Board via video. The Advisory Board members have vast experience in U.S. healthcare, offer a diversity of perspectives and viewpoints, and represent a range of key healthcare stakeholder groups, including consumers, providers, payers, academia, government, business and philanthropy.
